Hand Building I and II

coil building In these mini courses, kids will discover the medium of clay in a four-day class. This class is geared for kids 10 - 14. A variety of hand building techniques will be demonstrated and explored. Hands on methods of pinch, coil, slab, texture and form will be discussed and explored in a real working studio. The children will be able to focus on their creativity and have results to take home and share. Sure to be a fun experience and stir creative juices! Please have children eat lunch prior to coming to the class and bring a drink for during the class. Have them bring a towel and dress to get dirty.

This will be an 4-day session of classes. $150.

All clay and tools will be provided. *Due to the short length of the courses, finished work will have to be picked up at a later date/TBD in class.

We will be scheduling summer classes for kids in mid-January. We know you want to plan early.
