A
great group of potters gathered in March of 2004 to fire our ware in Mizue's
wonderful wood kiln at her Berryville studio. We
had a fantastic experience. It was an honor to work with Mizue, and the
results were excellent.

We arrived early Saturday morning and were greeted by Mizue, who showed us around her studio and discussed all the glazes and slips we would be using. It was great... Mizue had example pieces using each of her assortment of glazes. We worked outside in the fresh air on some folding tables and everyone jumped right in.
