Beginning Wheel
Participants must be 15 or older.

Jessica Throwing on the Potter's Wheel Designed for mature teens and young adults who want to experience clay; for those beginners who want to expand their experience, or for those who are ready to continue their journey.

Come work in a real studio environment! Express yourself!

This class includes an introduction to the potter's wheel, focusing on wedging, shaping, trimming, glazing techniques, and studio safety. Aesthetics will be discussed and other studio techniques may be explored.

Glazing and surface decoration will round out the entire process.

No prior art experience is required. Demonstrations, group discussions. One-to-one attention will be given to each student.

This will be an 8 week session of classes, max 6 participants, $240.

All clay, tools, glazes and oxidation firing will be included.
